PRANAYA - NATIONAL LEVEL CULTURAL FEST

To be held on 22nd April 2022, is the National Level Cultural Fest. Karpagam Academy of Higher Education hosts annually to encourage, and provide a platform to demonstrate the talents among students.

Event Rules & Regulation

All Participants should be Vaccinated
Each college can represent only one team or individual per event in both OFF and ON stage.
All the participants should bring their ID CARD.
All participants should confirm their participation through registration form.
The decision of the judges and Organisers shall be final.
Performance using fire, chemicals, crackers and animals are strictly prohibited. Boys and Girls are not allowed to perform together.

If accommodation is required prior information should be given at least before a week.
All participants should be at their best behavior and indiscipline of any nature will lead to disqualification of the entire team.

Face Painting

Cash Prize - 1st RS.3000, 2nd RS.2000, 3rd RS.1000

Only one entry per institution is entertained with 2 Participants
Duration of 1 hour it should be pleasant peace art related to the theme
No vulgarity and no specific depiction of personality / community.

Adaptune

Cash Prize - 1st RS.3000, 2nd RS.2000, 3rd RS.1000

Only one entry per institution is entertained
Time limit: 2 mins.
Attractive costume is must.

Clash of Bands

Prize - 1st RS.8000, 2nd RS.6000, 3rd RS.4000

One team (between 5-12 members) per college with maximum 12 mins.
Performance (including sound check and instrument set up)
Basic drum kit will be provided.

Ensemble-Group Dance

Cash Prize - 1st RS.20,000, 2nd RS.15,000, 3rd RS.10,000

Only one entry per institution is entertained with minimum 4 participants per team.
The team may consist of an individual group of boys or a group of girls.
Duration of dance should not exceed to 5 mins.
The participating team will be responsible for the removal of their sets, props, etc., immediately after completion of their performance.
The selection of song should be appropriate and it should be necessarily being a cultured & pleasant piece of art. Judgement will be based on rhythm formation expression and costumes.

Larks-Solo Song

Cash Prize - 1st RS.3000, 2nd RS.2000, 3rd RS.1000

Only one entry per institution is entertained.
Duration of performance is 3 - 5 mins.
Time for BGM is 3 mins.
Judgement will be based on selection of song,
Quality of voice and rendition.

Versatalia-Variety Entertainment

Cash Prize - 1st RS.7000, 2nd RS.5000, 3rd RS.3000

Only one entry per institution is entertained with minimum number of 2 participants and maximum number of 9 participants per team.
Each team shall be given 5 minutes
It should be necessarily being a cultured and pleasant piece of heart. Judgment will be based on skill.
Imitating variety of sound and voices Imitated presentation.

Mehandi

Cash Prize - 1st RS.2000, 2nd RS.1500, 3rd RS.1000

Only one entry per institution is Entertained with 2 Participants
Duration of 1 hour Mehandi
Tattoo Designs that mimic Tattoo (Stickers) are not eligible for Entry

Solitaire-Solo Dance

Cash Prize - 1st RS.7000, 2nd RS.5000, 3rd RS.3000

Only one entry per institution is entertained.
Duration of the dance should not exceed to 3 mins.
The participating team will be responsible for the removal of their sets, props, etc., immediately after completion of their performance.
The selection of song should be appropriate and it should be necessarily being a cultured & pleasant piece of art. Judgement will be based on rhythm expression, costumes, make up sets and over all effects.
